About this program
The Victorian Government offers a rebate of up to $1,400 for eligible households to install a solar panel system. Combined with the federal STC discount, this significantly reduces the upfront cost of going solar.
Eligibility requirements
- Combined household income under $210,000
- Property value under $3 million
- Must be an owner-occupier
- Must use a CEC-accredited installer and Solar Victoria-authorised retailer
- Must not have previously received a solar panel rebate
