About this program
The federal government's main solar incentive. When you install an eligible solar panel system, you receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) that can be traded for a point-of-sale discount. The number of STCs depends on your system size, location, and the years remaining until 2030.
Eligibility requirements
- System must be under 100kW capacity
- Must use CEC-approved components
- Must be installed by a CEC-accredited installer
- Available to all Australian residents and businesses
